Executive Mail Center Manager (EMCM) & CMDSM, CMDSS Specialists

The Executive Mail Center Manager (EMCM) program is a comprehensive training program that is designed for individuals who wish to develop mail center management skills. The EMCM program is designed specifically for mailing industry professionals to excel in the areas of effective management, mail center safety and security improvement, cut costs and boost productivity. 

All of OMG's Account and Field Managers are MQC and EMCM Certified with the exception of those few who just came on board. We are very proud of the knowledge and expertise our Management Team brings to our clients.

CMDSM - Certified Mail & Distribution Systems Manager and CMDSS - Certified Mail & Distribution Systems Supplier

OMG currently has one Mail Center Account Manager who have both of the CMDSM and CMDSS certifications. As of April 2010, our Account Manager is one of only 24 in the US holding the CMDSS Certification.

In an ever changing and volatile mailing industry the need to remain informed and educated is critical meeting the increased demands in the workplace.  Mistakes or lack of understanding can lead to significant losses in time and money for your company.  The MSMA (Mail Systems Management Association) has developed a new certification test for all levels of employment in the industry.  The primary objective of the MSMA is to continuously promote the importance of education and certification. Our ongoing mission is to provide educational opportunities and recognition of achievement to all mailing industry professionals through three sponsored certification programs available to the industry. The Mailpiece Design Consultant certification is an inexpensive option to insure that you and your employees are well versed in the postal requirements for designing, preparing and mailing items though the United States Postal Service. MDP Certified Specialists

Mailpiece Quality Control (MQC) was a former study program and certification from the USPS. For those companies who desire that their employees learn more about mailpiece design, proper addressing, bar-coding requirements, and other Postal Service regulations. Ninety-five (95%) of all of our staff have remained MQC certified.

Recently the USPS has introduced a new certification called Mailpiece Design Professional (MDP). OMG is in process of implementing this certification amongst all Team Members. The Mailpiece Design Professional (MDP) program offers two curriculum alternatives that teach mailing industry personnel how to design mail to enhance its compatibility with U.S. Postal Service® automated equipment. It also coaches mailers on how to achieve lower postage prices through automation. USPS MDP certification is available upon successful completion of course assessment.
